Linda Tellington-Jones developed the Tellington Jones Equine Awareness Method of training horses in the early 1970s. TTEAM combines ideas from Feldenkrais Body Awareness Work for humans, a specific kind of touch work, and ground and riding exercises to increase the animal’s confidence, coordination, and overall health and function. This approach uses understanding rather than dominance to work with horses and gives owners and riders effective ways of promoting greater harmony, cooperation and trust between themselves and their animals.
