TTEAM BIO
BARBARA JANELLE is a Recognized Practitioner of the TELLINGTON
JONES EQUINE AWARENESS METHOD. Barbara’s forty-five years of
experience with horses, and twenty-two years in TTEAM provide a
valuable base for addressing performance, health and behavior problems
in horses.
Barbara founded and edited CADORA INK, the National Dressage Magazine of Canada (1982-85). She was Area Rep (President) of the London, Ontario Dressage Association (1980, 1981), chaired the Ontario Dressage Championships, led the Delaware 4-H Horse and Pony Club (1972-84), co-founded the Southwestern Ontario Trail Riding Association and edited its newsletter (1987-93).
As a Recognized TTEAM Practitioner, Barbara worked on the horses of the winning Canada East Team in the 1989 North American Endurance Championships, attended to the therapeutic riding horses at the Special Abilities Riding Institute (SARI) in London, Ontario for 10 years (1989-98) and was a member of the SARI Horse Committee for several years. Barbara taught Basic Level Centered Riding to SARI’s riding teachers for many years too.
In addition to being a Recognized TTEAM Practitioner, Barbara is a Recognized
TTACT (Tellington TTouch Animal Companion Training) Practitioner,
an Animal Communicator listed in Species Link, The Journal
of Telepathic Communication, and Recognized Teacher and Practitioner
of Therapeutic Touch (in both the USA and Canada).
Her articles appear in TTEAM Connections (formerly TTEAM News International).
Barbara Janelle moved to Santa Barbara, CA in 2000 where she works
with horses and their owners.
